With the theme of 'Borders', I was lead to explore geographical borders through the only way possible to me. I viewed various countries' borders using Google Street View in order to see the variations throughout the world. Are all borders structural and fortified or are some more natural and picturesque than we imagine? One border that particularly took me by surprise was the China - North Korea border. North Korea is synonymous with being controlling and strict, and therefore I was surprised when its border looked quite different to this. The images available to me were beautiful and could've been from a holiday brochure. I decided to take these images and compile them in a book that showed a journey along the border, highlighting how nature transcends political borders we've imposed on ourselves.

The screenprints I produced had a print of their respective border on top. The thick black line on top of the picturesque scene portrays how we have segregated ourselves to the point where it's become difficult to view our world.
